If travel is your main concern, let us reassure you. The Transportation Department at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center is at your service.
Southwestern's Transportation Department is comprised of 16 friendly and helpful representatives. They work around the clock to provide for your local transportation needs.
Taking the worry out of travel
If you are coming to us from out of town, our friendly transportation staff will greet you at the airport by baggage claim. They will load your luggage for you and drive you to your destination. [To make it easier for everyone, we suggest you limit the weight of your individual items to 50 pounds or less, or pack two smaller cases.]
If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels or at our outpatient accommodations, you do not need to worry about getting to and from the hospital. Our transportation staff is here to take you back and forth. Our hotel shuttles make frequent, daily trips to and from Southwestern Regional Medical Center and the Radisson and Candlewood Suites Hotels.
Even if you live locally, our transportation staff will pick you up for your appointments/treatments at the hospital and take you back home afterwards. Our home patient transportation service includes up to a 50-mile radius of our hospital.
Around the town too
We are not just here to take you to and from the hospital. Our friendly and compassionate transportation staff makes frequent trips around the town. They work with our Patient Relations Department to take you and your caregivers to restaurants, malls, museums and other local spots (i.e., Woodland Hills Mall, Super Wal-Mart, Target, etc.).
Valet parking
We also provide complimentary valet parking for patients and caregivers Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
