Cancer Treatment Services 7 Days a Week
Life is busy, especially when you have cancer. Now you can receive quality cancer care on your timeline—any day of the week.
As of October 28, 2010, Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center (Southwestern) became the first CTCA hospital to offer the full range of cancer treatment services seven days a week.*
Whether you’re coming to Southwestern for an initial evaluation, or returning for treatment or check-ups, you can schedule your appointments for any day of the week to better accommodate your lifestyle.
*NOTE: Based on the current needs of our patients, radiation is not offered on the weekends at this time. However, this is subject to change should our patients’ needs change.

Expanded Hospital Hours & Services
As part of our expanded hours program, Southwestern now has a medical oncologist who works Thursday through Monday in order to see patients on the weekends. The medical oncologist coordinates with the rest of the patient's medical team and other medical oncologists who work during the weekdays, in order to ensure continuity of care for both new and returning patients.
The weekend clinic hours are Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
