Elena Roman

Chief Operating Officer
Elena Roman is Chief Operating Officer for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center. Ms. Roman received a Bachelor of Music and Science in music therapy with a double major in psychology from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. She continued her education, receiving a master’s degree in business management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Roman has more than 30 years of healthcare management and marketing experience with leadership roles in the areas of business development, hospital administration, marketing, and insurance contracting. Prior to joining CTCA, Ms. Roman served as the Chief Executive Officer of HealthSouth Southern Arizona Rehabilitation Center as well as Administrator of Lakeview NeuroRehabilitation Center. She also spent time as Professor of Marketing Management at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Roman began her career with CTCA in June 2006 as Vice President of Oncology Patient Services for CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois. She enjoys music, singing, reading, and spending time with her dogs and cats.
