gold standard seal from JCAHO

Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southwestern Regional Medical Center is currently accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) with Full Standards Compliance. This accreditation decision is awarded to a healthcare organization that demonstrates satisfactory compliance with applicable Joint Commission standards in all performance areas.

What is JCAHO?

Delivering top-notch patient care takes a cohesive team of experienced doctors, nurses, care managers, nutritionists, naturopathic practitioners, physical therapists and pastors to seamlessly integrate their services for your benefit. One resource you may employ to help identify your treatment hospital’s dedication to patient care is the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Established in 1951, JCAHO provides the “gold standard” seal of hospital approval in healthcare. JCAHO-accredited hospitals must pass a rigorous on-site evaluation. JCAHO surveys address the hospital’s performance in key areas, such as patient rights and patient treatment.
