Led by Dr. Anita Johnson, the entire team of specialists at Southeastern is focused on providing advanced surgical oncology for breast cancer patients.
Breast surgery at our state-of-the-art hospital in greater Atlanta is performed by physicians skilled in surgical oncology. Our breast surgeons are experienced in performing lumpectomies and mastectomies to remove cancerous tumors. Recent advances in breast-conserving surgeries like partial, nipple- or skin-sparing mastectomies may also be available to patients treating at CTCA®. The broad range of surgical services offered to our breast cancer patients includes diagnostic biopsies and oncoplastic reconstructive surgeries like tissue transfers and microsurgical flap procedures as well as new treatment and diagnostic techniques such as genomic testing.
