About two-thirds of our patients come from out of state. One reason is because we make it easy to get here.
If you decide to travel to CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern) for treatment, our Transportation Department works closely with our travel schedulers to make your trip as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Prior to your arrival at Southeastern, our representatives will coordinate all of the details for you, from your air travel to lodging arrangements to anything else you may need. Then, from the minute you arrive, the transportation team is at your service.
If you're traveling from out of town, we'll pick you up from the airport. During your stay, we'll take you to offsite medical appointments and special outings.
When you arrive
When you travel to Southeastern by plane, a member of our Transportation Team will bring you to the hospital. Our drivers meet patients at two spots at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport: the top of the escalators near to Baggage Claim or the Georgia Lottery Booth on the Delta side of Baggage Claim. Your driver will hold a CTCA sign for easy identification. After meeting your driver, you will retrieve your luggage. Your driver then will bring you directly to the hospital or to one of our partner hotels, if you are staying locally with us.
For those who live locally and need transportation to the hospital, a driver can pick you up for your appointments and take you home afterward. Our home patient transportation service operates up to an estimated 30-mile radius of the hospital and serves patients who are traveling here for clinical-related appointments.
During your stay
If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels, our transportation team operates regular shuttles between our local hotel partners and Southeastern.
