Alora Brock joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in 2005, after a successful career in hospitality management. Ms. Brock has served in a variety of roles at CTCA, including Director of Lean Six Sigma at Eastern Regional Medical Center (Eastern) and Facilities Manager at the Corporate Office.
Ms. Brock now serves as the Director of Talent at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern). In this role, Ms. Brock was instrumental in successfully opening Southeastern in 2012. She selected and oversaw onboarding for more than 400 new stakeholders in the hospital’s first year, during which time stakeholders voted Southeastern the No. 2 Top Workplace for a midsize company through the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Before coming to Southeastern, Ms. Brock spent the six years creating and implementing a robust Lean Six Sigma Program at Eastern. Her work ensured that the Lean Six Sigma Program is fully integrated into Eastern’s strategic plan as the primary means for implementing strategies and conducting improvement projects.
In addition, Ms. Brock co-designed and developed the Enterprise CTCA Lean Six Sigma Curriculum, including A3 Performance ImprovementSM, the CTCA Green Belt Program and Kaizen Facilitation Training. Ms. Brock has facilitated over 30 kaizen events and has mentored over 35 green belts during her time at CTCA. She specializes in Lean Six Sigma program start up, cultural transformation and strategic alignment.
Ms. Brock completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Indiana University in Bloomington and her Master of Business Administration at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She received her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Ms. Brock enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Jason, and their children, Lucian and Vivienne.
