How Does Patient Empowered Care Work?
As a patient at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, you and your caregiver enjoy greater comfort consulting with your care team in one room. Providers come to you, one right after another, for a focused, seamless visit. Your team meets that day to review and discuss your treatment. During your appointment, team members have the opportunity to communicate in real time and share updates.
Scheduling is fast, easy and automatically scheduled in a block of sequential appointments. When you come to the clinic for an appointment with your medical oncologist, you will be scheduled to see the other clinicians on your Empowerment Team.
