Maintaining a healthy body weight is important for patients going through treatment, in order to stay strong and fight the disease. Your nutritionist will speak with you about cancer fighting foods, as well as how to keep up a healthy diet during the treatment process.

Nutrition is just one part of maintaining a healthy body weight, along with physical activity. That’s why Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern) offers a state-of-the-art Fitness Center for you and your caregivers to help you stay active, improve your well-being and relieve stress.

Fitness Center Amenities 

Our Fitness Center holds equipment for cardio workout as well as weight lifting. The Fitness Center will also host group classes such as yoga and Pilates.

Located on the third floor of the hospital, the Fitness Center is open 24/7.

Support From Your Care Team

Throughout your cancer treatment, your oncology rehabilitation therapist can help you use the Fitness Center to reach your personal fitness goals, as part of the department's Motion for Life Program. Your nutritionist and naturopathic clinician can provide hydration tips, healthy-eating plans and supplements that you may consider before and after working out.
