Scott Walker

Vice President of Finance
Scott Walker joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in 2005. Before his appointment of VP of Finance at CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern), Walker gained robust experience in assisting in the opening of Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia (Eastern).
In his current role, Walker brings over 10 years of financial management experience and expertise to Southeastern, with over six of those years in a hospital environment. Walker directs all financial aspects of the business including revenue cycle, financial patient advocacy, financial reporting, budgeting, health information management and materials management.
Walker graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a bachelor of arts degree. As Controller at Eastern, Walker successfully grew the finance function, including six years of accounting audits without a single adjustment, adoption of the Patient Financial Advocate program eliminating the financial barriers and concerns CTCA patients have during treatment, made various improvements in the hospital’s revenue cycle and increased patient access to the facility via efforts with patients and payors.
Walker and his team prided themselves on financial service internally and externally, and view themselves as a full-service department, serving first and foremost the patients and also those who serve the patients.
Walker is an avid cyclist, culminating in his completion of a three-day, 400-mile bike race in Puerto Rico in 2011 and ran in the Chicago marathon in October 2012 for charity. Scott enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with his family.
