Find Cancer Treatment in Atlanta at our Georgia Cancer Center
On August 15, 2012, Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) opened its fifth cancer hospital in Newnan, Georgia. CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern) is located 30 miles south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and offers fully integrated cancer care personalized to each patient’s individual needs.
The newest addition to the CTCA family of hospitals, our Atlanta cancer hospital services much of the Southeastern United States, including the major metropolitan areas of Atlanta, Charleston, Nashville, Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando.
Many residents of the Southeast will treat at our brand-new cancer hospital, and at least 65 percent will come from outside the state of Georgia. Our focus is always on the patient first, which is why our doctors and clinicians will work together, and with you, to create a personalized treatment plan for your specific needs.
What Makes CTCA Different
At CTCA, we treat the whole person, not just the cancer. Combining advanced medical technologies with supportive therapies – such as nutrition, acupuncture, oncology rehab and mind-body medicine – Southeastern provides state-of-the-art cancer treatment from a dedicated team of oncologists, surgeons and other health experts. All of these treatments are offered under one roof, allowing for a more private and convenient experience.
Our travel consultants handle all of the details of your visit – whether you’re coming from near or far – including your transportation and lodging arrangements. Once you’re here, we provide organic dining options and full concierge services.
We believe that knowing the survival rates of patients who are treated at our hospitals can help you and your family as you make a decision about where to seek treatment. Therefore, we provide our results in the areas of survival, quality of life and patient experience.
These are just a few of the reasons that treating at a CTCA hospital might be the right choice for you. Find out more about what makes us different.
The 226,000-square-foot, all-digital cancer hospital includes 25 private inpatient rooms, 26 infusion stations, two 650-square-foot surgical suites, radiation and infusion therapy departments, a patient clinic, rehabilitation and physical therapy department, concierge services, 60 onsite residential accommodation rooms for patients and caregivers, an organic food service department and dining room led by renowned chef Roy Khoo, and much more.
