A Team Approach to Skin Cancer Treatment
At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), our goal is to provide you with advanced cancer care, with an integrated, compassionate approach. Your personal cancer fighting team - including oncologists and surgeons working side by side with dietitians, naturopaths, pain-management clinicians, chiropractors and mind-body therapists - will work with you to find the skin cancer treatments appropriate to your individual needs.
At CTCA, we specialize in treating skin cancers that have returned, or that have spread to other parts of the body, when other types of treatment are necessary. From the moment you contact CTCA, our focus is on reducing stress and taking care of all of the details, including insurance verification, scheduling appointments, gathering medical records and arranging transportation and lodging.
Integrated Skin Cancer Care Under One Roof
Each patient with skin cancer is unique, and our patients have told us they value cancer treatment that incorporates their individual concerns and needs. Your personal care team will complete a comprehensive review of your medical records by the time you arrive at our hospital. Within the first two days, you will also meet with each of the members of your care team who will listen, answer your questions and develop a personalized skin cancer treatment plan.
Once you have completed treatment, the CTCA Survivorship Support Program continues to support you at home. This program is set up to help you identify and manage side effects, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. You’ll be connected with a nurse, who you can call whenever you have a concern.
