Patients' Perspective

Todd Hardy

When he was first diagnosed with Stage 1A lung cancer, Todd was told he would have to have the top left lobe of his lung removed. But he wanted to learn more, namely, why surgery was required, and whether he had any other options.

Todd’s search for answers brought him to CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a second opinion. Our medical oncologists not only confirmed that a lobectomy was the most appropriate approach in Todd’s case, they explained why.

Listen to Todd share how that second opinion impacted the course of his cancer treatment plan.

Randy Knight

Randy Knight is the kind of guy who “likes to know everything.” When he was diagnosed with MALT non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he did everything he could to become an expert on his condition.

He looked online and in the library for more information, and discussed his diagnosis with friends in the medical community. Randy wouldn’t feel confident with his treatment unless he was armed with as much knowledge as possible.

In order to ensure that he covered all his bases, Randy decided to seek a second opinion at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). This was the way Randy felt he could choose the right plan for his needs with confidence.

Listen to Randy’s story, and see why a second opinion at CTCA® was the right choice for him.
