“My goal with each patient is to create a collaborative partnership that provides support, encouragement, and education,” says Dr. Erin Sweet.
Dr. Sweet graduated from Evergreen State College with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. In 1998, she returned to school to study naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University and obtained her doctorate in 2004. Dr. Sweet went on to complete a two-year family practice and women’s health residency at the National College of Natural Medicine.
In 2009 Dr. Sweet became attending physician at Bastyr University’s Integrative Oncology Research Center. The following year she became a Research Investigator at Bastyr University. In 2012 she received a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Washington School of Public Health and completed a three-year NIH postdoctoral fellowship at Bastyr University Research Institute.
Dr. Sweet is a board certified Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology through the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Naturopathic Physician’s Research Network, and the Society of Integrative Oncology.
