Robert Levin, M.D. has served as the Director of Medical Oncology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) for 10 years. In discussing what distinguishes CTCA from other hospitals that provide cancer treatment, Dr. Levin points to the integral role that patients’ family members play here. He says it is a true pleasure to care for patients who receive such tremendous family support, and it allows him to focus more intently on providing the best care possible for his patients.
Dr. Levin is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and has been on the medical staff at several prominent Chicago area hospitals. A graduate of the University of Chicago Medical School, he completed his residency at Northwestern University. While there, he also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Levin now resides in Highland Park, Illinois. He is married with two sons – which he feels are three more reasons to believe in the incredible power of family.
