Co-Pay Assistance Program Launched for Patients with Blood Cancers

Those who suffer from blood cancers, and who cannot afford to meet their prescription drug co-payments, or health insurance premiums, are now receiving assistance from the non-profit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The program is aimed at patients with acute myelogenous leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma who are at or near 300 percent above the federal poverty level. Requests for financial assistance will be taken on a first-come, first served basis by the White Plains, N.Y.-based society.
