Prostate Cancer Symptoms
There are several prostate cancer symptoms associated with prostate cancer. However, having one or more of these symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have prostate cancer. One of the most common prostate cancer symptoms is the inability to urinate. Other prostate cancer symptoms are painful ejaculation, blood in the urine, blood in the semen, and painful or burning urination. This list is not comprehensive though and there are other prostate cancer symptoms. If you have one or more of these prostate cancer symptoms, you should see a qualified doctor as soon as possible.
Prostate Cancer Symptoms: Cancer Detection
If you have prostate cancer symptoms, you should see a doctor for a prostate cancer detection examination. Your doctor may use either of the two common tests for prostate cancer detection. One of these tests is the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test. This measures the PSA enzyme in your blood for abnormalities. Another test commonly used when prostate cancer symptoms are present is the digital rectal exam.
