Bio
Ms. Gilbert has been the Director of the Oncology Rehabilitation Department at Southwestern Regional Medical Center since 1997. She graduated From University Of Michigan with a bachelors degree in physical therapy, and prior to joining CTCA served as supervisor of Rehabilitation Services for eastern Oklahoma through Oklahoma Home Health, was the Director of the Penuel Pain Clinic in Tulsa, and partnered in opening and developing the Tulsa Center for Physical Therapy and Myofascial Pain Rehabilitation. Karen has also participated in a multi-center investigational research in rheumatology on fibromyalgia. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and the facilitator of a Lymphedema Support Group for breast cancer survivors, which is supported by a Komen grant.
