2016 Press Ganey GOEAChicago, Ill. – (November 14, 2016) – Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern) is pleased to announce that it has been named as a 2016 Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey for inpatient services. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have consistently achieved the 95th percentile or above of performance in Patient Experience.

“Receiving this award reinforces our core belief that it takes an entire team of dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient-centered care,” said Jacklynn Lesniak, Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern). “Everyone one plays a critical part in the delivery of excellent care, no matter their role.”

The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in health care. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.

According to Meisner, the award represents an important recognition from the industry’s leader in measuring, understanding and improving patient experience.
