"At CTCA, they help me to aggressively fight cancer and have a good quality of life... My doctor and I have such a great rapport. He knows I’m in it to win it. And he is too."
Hi I am Chris Parrish. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Here is my story.
Here is Doc Levin giving me my results. .... am still boring. No changes!!
Hey everyone! Im back at CTCA this morning to get my test results. I am a bit anxious to hear what Doc Levin has to say. I will keep you updated.
Hey Everyone! I finally made it! At least it's sunny here...I'm soaking in my vitamin D. I just checked in and now waiting to get my scans. I'll check in a little later!
Well, my numbers are the same and I'm so ecstatic! I'm going through a round of infusion this week, and then next month I'll have my scans. It's been a good day!!
Even after a brief hiatus, my numbers are stable. I guess I'm a 'boring' patient! lol
Hey Everyone! I got in last night at CTCA. I didn't sleep very well last night, but I feel good this morning and I'm ready to go! I've got a busy day today, but it's good to be back after two months and get back into a routine and see everyone again. I'll post another update later on!
I never realized in this whole process, that I would go on a journey, not just of cancer, but also one of self-discovery and emotional healing. It's been tough but really good at the same time.
I talked to my Nutritionist about monitoring what I eat and she gave me some tips for the upcoming Holiday season.
I went down to Imaging to review the scans after the results-- I always like looking at them. Other than the good news, they found a small cyst that didn't appear last time. Because it is so small, right now we will just continue to monitor it.
I filmed this at night after finishing up my CT scan. I feel good about it, but I'm being cautiously optimistic.
I always hope for the best, but my nerves do get going.
This is a big month because I'll be getting more scans done. I'm a little nervous about that, but that just comes with the territory. Talk to y'all later!
Here's an update on last weekend and my week so far! Just want to keep you guys updated while I'm at home. I head back to CTCA on Monday, the 8th.
During this week's visit, here I am waiting for results of my blood work as well as having a nice meeting with Dr. Levin.
In case you missed my update (didn't want to keep you in suspense), here is a little recap of what I am doing at CTCA - including the results of my tests. It's good news again! More in depth video to come of my appointments this week so check back soon.
Here is a brief look at my recent visit with Dr. Levin, some of his thoughts on our meeting and my recap of the day.
My mom and my sister share some of their thoughts...
Meet the team of people working with me in this fight.
Here is Dr. Levin talking about me and my recent visit.
My technician explains what they're looking at and I share a few words, too.
I was hesitant about Acupuncture at first, but since trying it, it has helped me deal with side effects like nausea and night sweats. Last week I did Acupuncture while at CTCA, here are my thoughts on it.
