Conventional Ovarian Cancer Treatments
Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) offers several different conventional forms of ovarian cancer treatment. Surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy are three common conventional treatments which have been used effectively for a number of years to treat ovarian cancer.
At CTCA, our cancer doctors will work together with you to evaluate which conventional ovarian cancer treatments are best suited to you. We use diagnostic technologies to help evaluate the stage and severity of the ovarian cancer. We also take into account your age, general health and other factors. Based on your individual needs, you will receive a comprehensive ovarian cancer treatment plan.

CTCA Clinical Trial: Ovarian Cancer Vaccine
Currently, CTCA is conducting a phase I/II study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a personalized, ovarian cancer vaccine for patients with recurrent and chemotherapy-resistant, late stage disease. The study has been reviewed and cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. CTCA patients undergoing treatment for stage III or IV ovarian cancer that have tumor progression, despite at least one, but no more than two chemotherapy regimens, may be eligible to participate in the study based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Note: This study is being conducted exclusively at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center. For more information, please call 1-877-98-TRIAL.
