Ovarian cancer diagnostics and treatment

At each of our hospitals, you'll find innovative ovarian cancer treatments and technologies—all under one roof. Our ovarian cancer experts use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including advanced imaging and laboratory tests, to evaluate ovarian cancer. This diagnostic evaluation takes about three to five days.

Then together, we develop a comprehensive ovarian cancer treatment plan that works for you. Your individualized plan will include advanced medical treatments and technologies, combined with integrative oncology services to help reduce side effects and keep you strong in body, mind and spirit.

Our ovarian cancer experts

At Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), you’ll have a dedicated team of oncologists, surgeons and other specialists, all of whom reside in our hospital and regularly discuss your treatment plan. Your care team may include the following clinicians:

  • Gynecologic oncologist
  • Medical oncologist
  • Radiation oncologist
  • Orthopedic oncologist
  • Dietitian
  • Naturopathic clinician
  • Pain management practitioner
  • Rehabilitation therapist
  • Chiropractor
  • Mind-body therapist
  • Pastoral care provider

Your care team meets each week to discuss the progression of your treatment as it relates to your specific medical, nutritional, emotional and spiritual needs. This allows our ovarian cancer experts to share in your progress and improve the quality of your treatment and care.

You will also be assigned a personal care manager (a registered nurse) who will follow you from your first visit to our hospital, throughout your ovarian cancer treatment, and after treatment is complete.
