“I value our team approach to treating patients,” says Dr. Nimesh Patel, a radiologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) in Zion, Illinois. “Integrating many modalities into care is an area where we excel.”
Dr. Patel earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. He then completed a medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Patel served as an intern in the Department of Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, where he also completed a diagnostic radiology residency and served as Chief Resident. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the university.
During his medical training, Dr. Patel published and presented numerous research studies on various aspects of radiology. He also taught and lectured.
Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Dr. Patel joined CTCA in June 2014. One of his primary responsibilities is diagnostic imaging for breast cancer. He enjoys connecting with patients and strives to provide the most compassionate care possible.
