For fitness options, CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center has a partnership with the Zion Park District, just a block west of the hospital.
Benefits of the nearby Fitness Center include: Access to fitness equipment, a variety of fitness classes, including yoga and Zumba, and fitness facilities and amenities, including large locker rooms, concessions, a basketball court, jogging track and volleyball court. Guests visiting the park district may pick up a towel and a park district visitor pass from First Connections in the hospital’s front lobby.
Hours are weekdays 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A fitness center is also available for all patients and caregivers at Guest Quarters North. Shuttles from our hospital regularly go to and from Guest Quarters North. Please sign up at Guest Quarters North’s front desk upon arrival. Also be sure to bring your own towel.

Throughout your cancer treatment, your oncology rehabilitation therapist can help you reach your personal fitness goals, as part of the department's Motion for Life Program. In addition, your dietitian and naturopathic clinician can provide hydration tips, healthy eating plans and supplements you may consider before and after working out.
