Carmelita Zeta-Sanchez, MSN, RN, NE-BC, is the Assistant Vice President of Nursing Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern).
Ms. Zeta-Sanchez has made an indelible impression on CTCA® at Midwestern over the last two decades. Under her direction, the turnover rate has remained less than one percent, and 2011 nursing satisfaction rates ranked above the NDNQI national average in all five categories. As Director of Nursing from 1992 until 2010 and Assistant Vice President of Nursing Services since 2010, Ms. Zeta-Sanchez has facilitated the implementation of the enterprise-wide Quality of Life Center program and supported the implementation of the Neurosurgical program. She has also initiated the enterprise-wide implementation of the Hendrick Fall Prevention program alongside our direct care nurses.
Most recently, Ms. Zeta-Sanchez has led the CTCA at Midwestern nursing team in its pursuit of Magnet® recognition.
