It’s a long journey from the Middle East to the American Midwest. And yet it’s here in Zion, Illinois, that Pakistan-native Dr. Rakhshanda Neelam feels right at home.
As a medical oncologist at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, Dr. Neelam feels fortunate to work in such a supportive and compassionate environment—one in which integrative care is more than just a goal; it’s a working philosophy.
Dr. Neelam is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
After graduating from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Pakistan, she pursued her residency at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago. She then completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the Chicago Medical School.
Dr. Neelam has held positions as an oncologist/hematologist at a number of hospitals.
