CTCA: Liver Cancer Symptoms

Liver cancer does not usually cause symptoms in the early stages. In fact, many people do not experience any recognizable liver cancer symptoms until the final stages of the disease. However, some common liver cancer symptoms to watch out for are listed below. Keep in mind that only a doctor can accurately determine if your liver cancer symptoms are the result of cancer.

Some liver cancer symptoms to watch out for include:

  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Stomach pain that will not go away
  • Swelling in the area of the stomach
  • Feeling very full after a small meal
  • Nausea
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)
  • Lack of an appetite
  • Fever
  • Fatigue, unusual tiredness
  • Lump or pain in the right side (just below the rib cage)
  • Pain around the right shoulder blade
  • Itchy skin

Not all of these liver cancer symptoms are present in everyone. Also, in many cases, these possible liver cancer symptoms can also be attributed to other ailments. If you are experiencing any of these liver cancer symptoms, it is important that you visit a doctor to determine if your liver cancer symptoms are indeed the result of liver cancer.
