Vaginal Cancer Treatment - Treatments for vaginal cancer vary, depending on the stage, size, type, and location of the cancer, as well as other patient-specific factors. Surgery is the primary form of vaginal cancer treatment. Surgical procedures may include: excision, vaginectomy, hysterectomy, lymph node dissection, or pelvic exenteration. Radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy may also be used to help impede the growth of vaginal cancer cells.
