Uterine Cancer Treatment - Uterine cancer treatment depends on a variety of factors, including the specific type of cancer, the size and grade of the tumor, the stage of the disease, and the patient's age and general health. Surgery is the most common form of uterine cancer treatment. Surgical procedures may include a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) or bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of the fallopian tubes and both ovaries). Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and hormone therapy may also be used separately, or in conjunction with surgical methods to treat uterine cancer.
