Urethral Cancer Treatment - Urethral cancer treatment is influenced by a variety of factors, including the stage and location of the cancer, as well as the patient's age, sex, and overall health. Surgery is the most common form of urethral cancer treatment. Depending on the situation, different surgical procedures may include cystourethrectomy, penectomy, cystoprostatectomy, anterior exenteration, or lymph node dissection. Radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy may also be used either alone, or in conjunction with surgery to help eradicate any cancerous cells remaining in the body.
