Tongue Cancer Symptoms - Initial symptoms of tongue cancer may include precancerous lesions that appear on the surface of the tongue. As the disease progresses, other symptoms may include the following: persistent pain, stiff and rigid tongue muscles, and difficulty eating, speaking, or swallowing. It is important to consult with a medical professional to determine whether these symptoms are related to tongue cancer, or a different condition.
