Testicular Cancer Treatment - Recommended therapies for testicular cancer depend on a variety of factors, including the cancer type and stage, as well as the patient's overall health and personal preferences. Surgery to remove the affected testicle (radical inguinal orchiectomy) is the most common form of testicular cancer treatment. Surgery may also involve removal of the lymph nodes in the groin (retroperitoneal lymph node dissection). Other testicular cancer treatments may include chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
