Stomach Cancer Treatment - Stomach cancer treatment depends on the cancer stage, tumor location, and a variety of other patient-specific factors. Surgery is the most common form of stomach cancer treatment. Various forms of stomach cancer surgery may include endoscopic mucosal resection, subtotal (partial) gastrectomy, total gastrectomy, and endoluminal stent placement. Chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy are other stomach cancer treatments, which may also be used in combination with surgery.
