Small Intestine Cancer Treatment - Treatment for small intestine cancer depends on the cancer type and stage, the size and location of the tumor, and other factors. Surgery (e.g., resection, bypass, palliative surgery) is the most common form of small intestine cancer treatment. Chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy may also be given as standalone treatments, or after surgery (as an adjuvant therapy) to kill any remaining cancer cells.
