Skin Cancer Treatment - Recommended skin cancer treatments vary for each patient, based on the type of cancer (e.g., basal cell, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma), cancer stage,  tumor size and location, and other factors. Some common forms of conventional skin cancer treatment can include surgery (e.g., excisional surgery, Mohs surgery, electrodesiccation and curettage), radiation therapy, chemotherapy, biotherapy/immunotherapy, and photodynamic therapy (PDT).
