Sarcoma Treatment - Sarcoma treatment depends on several patient-specific factors, including the type of sarcoma, the tumor's size and location, the cancer stage, and the patient's age and overall health. Common conventional methods used in sarcoma treatment include various forms of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and biotherapy/immunotherapy. Often, cancer treatments will be used in conjunction with each other in an effort to prevent the sarcoma from spreading (metastasizing) to other areas of the body.
