Revlimid® - The trade name for lenalidomide, Revlimid® is an oral chemotherapy drug used in the treatment of multiple myeloma, as well as certain types of anemia in patients with 5q MDS (a type of myelodysplastic syndrome). Revlimid® is often used in combination with dexamethasone (a synthetic steroid which can alter immune response). Similar to thalidomide, Revlimid® belongs to the family of drugs called angiogenesis inhibitors. Also called CC-5013.
