Radiologist - A doctor who specializes in radiology. A radiologist uses sophisticated imaging technologies (e.g., x-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, etc.) to create and interpret pictures of areas inside the body for cancer diagnosis and staging. Radiologists can also deliver high-energy radiation and/or radioactive substances (radiation therapy) to help kill cancerous cells.
