Pituitary Gland Cancer Symptoms - Pituitary gland cancer symptoms can vary with each patient according to tumor type, location, and other factors. Many pituitary tumors are asymptomatic (showing no visible signs or symptoms). When symptoms do occur, they may arise from excess hormones produced by functioning tumors, or from the tumor's weight pressing on nearby parts of the brain. Other symptoms may include headaches, difficulty with or loss of vision, and vomiting. Because these symptoms share similar characteristics with a variety of disorders, a medical professional should be consulted for an accurate diagnosis.
