Peripheral Neuropathy - Damage to the peripheral nervous system of the body which causes pain, numbness, tingling, burning, swelling, weakness, or loss of reflexes in different parts of the body. Peripheral neuropathy usually begins in the hands or feet. Peripheral neuropathy can be a sign of cancer in the body, or it can also be a side effect of some chemotherapy drugs. Also called neuropathy.
