Palliative Treatment - Treatment for the relief of cancer symptoms and treatment-related side effects, such as pain. The main goal of palliative treatment is to improve the patient's comfort and quality of life. It may also be used to address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. Also called palliative care.
