Neck Cancer

Neck Cancer - Cancer that begins in the neck area. Neck cancer is normally grouped under the larger umbrella of head and neck cancer, which includes any type of cancer that arises in the nasal cavity, sinuses, lips, mouth, salivary glands, throat, or larynx (voice box). Head and neck cancers overall account for about three to five percent of all cancers in the United States. Tobacco and alcohol use are the most common risk factors for neck cancer.
