Neck Cancer Treatment - Neck cancer treatment depends on a wide variety of factors, including the specific cancer type and stage, tumor size and location, as well as the patient's age, gender, general health, and personal preferences. Surgery may be used to remove the tumor and some surrounding healthy tissue, as well as lymph nodes in the neck (lymph node dissection) if the cancer has spread there. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are also commonly used in neck cancer treatment, either alone or in combination with surgery.
