Malignant Tumor

Malignant Tumor - A cancerous tumor (or growth). A malignant tumor contains cellular abnormalities which cause it to rapidly multiply and invade surrounding tissues, or metastasize (spread) to other parts of the body. The opposite of a benign (non-invasive) tumor.
