Lymphocytes - Disease-fighting white blood cells produced by the body's immune system. The main types of lymphocytes include: T cells (which attack virus-infected cells, foreign cells, and tumor cells), B cells (which produce antibodies and other substances that fight infection, cancer, and other diseases), and natural killer (NK) cells (which attach to and kill abnormal cells like cancer cells).
