Lymph Node Cancer - Cancer of the lymph nodes. Part of the lymphatic system, the lymph nodes (also called lymph glands) are small, bean-shaped organs located throughout the body which produce and store disease-fighting blood cells. Lymph node cancer is most commonly associated with lymphoma, which occurs in cells of the immune system called lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).
