Localized Breast Cancer

Localized Breast Cancer - Early-stage cancer which originated in the breast and has not spread to surrounding tissue or organs. Because the cancer has not spread, one possible treatment option for localized breast cancer may be a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery which only removes affected portions of the breast).
