Islet Cell Cancer - A rare type of endocrine cancer that develops in the islets of Langerhans cells in the pancreas. Islet cells are a type of pancreatic cell that forms in the endocrine tissues of the pancreas and produces hormones. These hormones help control the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood.
