Invasive Rectal Cancer - Cancer that originates in the rectum, and then invades nearby healthy tissues. Invasive rectal cancer differs from in situ (non-invasive) rectal cancer in that it has spread beyond the primary site of origin, and thus may require a different treatment approach.
