Invasive Prostate Cancer

Invasive Prostate Cancer - Cancer that originates in the prostate, and then spreads into nearby healthy tissue. Invasive prostate cancer may require a more aggressive treatment approach than in situ (non-invasive) prostate cancer. It is estimated that about one in five men in the United States will develop invasive prostate cancer in his lifetime.
